The role and the team
Apptus is growing and we are happy to announce our search for a new colleague to join our IT department in Lund! As an IT Support Engineer, you will be a key player when it comes to delivering outstanding internal support for the organization and its employees, as well as the internal infrastructure. You will also be responsible for client installations and on- and off- boarding of employees. An important part of the work is to develop documentation and processes going forward, as well as to participate in the development and operation of the internal IT environment, both in the form of projects and further development of existing systems.
You will be a part of an IT department consisting of six other colleagues, but that will double its size during 2022. You will report to our Head of IT Support, a person that you will be working closely with and get the support you need to succeed in your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering support queries via a ticketing tool, phone, and email.
- Maintain a high degree of users’ service for all support queries and adhere to all service level agreements.
- Following the evolution of all aspects: documentation and the proper processing of the ticketing operation.
- Attend daily and weekly team meetings and update open issues and escalations.
- Monitor the alerts generated by the servers and ensure proactive measures are taken to prevent any major hardware failure.
- Log incidents and maintain records of all calls from users using the designated tool.
We are looking for someone with
- Education: At least two years YH level in system science, network administration, data science or similar.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience of 1st / 2nd Line IT support.
- Languages: Swedish and English business level.
- Good computer skills and great interest in IT and technology.
- Good knowledge in installation, administration and troubleshooting of computers and servers.
- Good knowledge of networks and infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of AD, DNS, MacOS, Windows and Office 365.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked with AWS / Google Cloud / Azure.

- This is a full-time position, and we want you to start as soon as possible.
- This position is based in Lund, although we have a flexible working culture.
