The role and the team

Since Apptus is growing, we are happy announce our search for a new colleague to join us at our headquarters in Lund. As a Presales Engineer you will be a part of the sales department and your main responsibility is to provide technical and functional knowhow during the sales process. In this role you would be responsible for creating presentations and documents, to support in the sales process and keep the demo environment modern and up to date.

Beyond operating in the sales department, you will support the other departments at Apptus with your insights, while being the voice from Sales to the rest of the organization. This may include for instance, informing the rest of company about market trends, new opportunities, and industry alerts. You will also be responsible for providing technical support for new partners, to help them get up and running during their onboarding. To success in this role, you need to be constantly up to speed with technical and practical knowledge of our products, the organization and with the industry in general.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical/ functional discovery in the sales process
  • Performing presentations, demos and workshop of various kinds in different parts of the sales process
  • Take lead in the process around RFI¬īs and RFP¬īs
  • Provide market insights and feedback to the product development team

We are looking for

  • Experience of working at a SaaS-based software company
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise software
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales/ Presales in an enterprise sales role
  • Languages: Business level Swedish and English
  • Education: BS/BA in Engineering or equivalent
  • It is a beneficial if you have experience within ecommerce

Some more practical information:

  • This is a full-time position, and we want you to start as soon as possible¬†ūüėä
  • This position is based in Lund, but we have a flexible working culture
  • When the world gets back to normal, you should be able¬†to travel around 1-2 days/ week¬†(often in Sweden/ Europe)
